Game Leaf Tropical flavor notes
Tropical is a fruit-punch mix: pineapple, mango and citrus notes blended together. It’s sweet without leaning on any one fruit. On the natural leaf, the flavor sits on top of a light, earthy tobacco base, so it tastes a little less sugary than the foil Game version.
It’s a good pick for anyone who likes mixed tropical fruit punch. It pairs well with a fruit punch or a cold beer.
Box count and cost per stick
This listing is 15 foil pouches of 2, 30 cigarillos in all for $15. That comes to about 50¢ per cigarillo. Every pack in this box has “2 for $1.29” printed on it. That’s the store price the maker set. Your cost per pack from this box is roughly $1. Bought one pack at a time at the printed price, the same 15 packs would cost $19.35.

How Game Leaf cigarillos are made and packed
Game Leaf cigarillos use a natural tobacco leaf wrapper instead of the smooth, even wrapper on the classic foil Game packs. You can see the leaf grain on every stick. Most people find the Leaf versions burn a little slower and taste a little more like tobacco. Game is made by Garcia y Vega, a cigar company founded in 1882, and it’s one of the best-known cigarillo brands in the US.
How to smoke it for the best taste
Give it a few seconds after lighting before you judge the taste. The first draw mostly tastes of the flame. After that the Tropical note settles in. Keep your pace slow so the tip stays cool.
Which Game format should you pick?
Not sure which Game to buy? Start with the wrapper. Game Leaf cigarillos have a real leaf wrapper and a fuller, earthier smoke. Game Foil Fresh cigarillos have a smooth wrapper, a cleaner taste and a foil pouch that keeps them fresh. Game Mini cigarillos are the short version for a five-minute break. For a proper hand-rolled cigar, look at Camacho Baccarat The Game.
Keeping Game Leaf Tropical fresh
Keep the box closed, at room temperature and out of direct sun. The foil pouches protect the leaf until you open them. After that, smoke both cigarillos within a day or so, because an open natural leaf cigarillo dries out and starts to burn hot and harsh.
