Game Leaf Dark Rum flavor notes
Dark Rum has a molasses-like sweetness and a spiced finish. It’s heavier than Cognac and pairs well with the darker natural leaf. On the natural leaf, the flavor sits on top of a light, earthy tobacco base, so it tastes a little less sugary than the foil Game version.
People who like molasses sweetness and spice tend to reorder this one. It pairs well with a rum and cola or black coffee.

About Game Leaf cigarillos
Game Leaf cigarillos use a natural tobacco leaf wrapper instead of the smooth, even wrapper on the classic foil Game packs. You can see the leaf grain on every stick. Most people find the Leaf versions burn a little slower and taste a little more like tobacco. Game is made by Garcia y Vega, a cigar company founded in 1882, and it’s one of the best-known cigarillo brands in the US.
How to smoke it for the best taste
Light the foot evenly by rotating it over the flame, and take short, gentle draws. If the cigarillo goes out, tap off the ash and relight it; that’s normal. Fast puffing is the most common mistake and it burns off the Dark Rum taste first.
Game Leaf, foil or Mini: how to choose
Game sells the same flavors in several formats, and the right one depends on how you smoke. Game Leaf cigarillos use a natural tobacco leaf wrapper and taste a little more like tobacco. Game Foil Fresh cigarillos come two to a sealed foil pouch with a smooth wrapper and the flavor up front. Game Mini cigarillos are shorter, three to a pack, for a quick smoke. If you want a full cigar, the Camacho Baccarat The Game line is the step up.
Keeping Game Leaf Dark Rum fresh
Keep the box closed, at room temperature and out of direct sun. The foil pouches protect the leaf until you open them. After that, smoke both cigarillos within a day or so, because an open natural leaf cigarillo dries out and starts to burn hot and harsh.
